Welcome to the Towns Together Chicago small business directory. This is an endeavor to help you find and support your favorite local spots in the greater Chicago area that may be affected by COVID-19 and related restrictions.
This is a directory of locally owned Chicago small businesses like restaurants, coffee shops, pubs, and other local stores that offer online gift cards for purchase, with an emphasis on minority-owned small businesses that may be disproportionately affected by current events. We hope that this website can serve as a resource that will help us to come together as a community and help patrons find and support their favorite places in town by purchasing gift cards when these local businesses need our help the most.
UPDATE, June 5, 2020: We are trying to update this list to include more African American-owned businesses in and around Chicago. This is by no means an exhaustive list, but we hope this small step to support more African American-owned businesses will help in the bigger fight against the systemic inequalities and racial disparities faced by minority entrepreneurs and small business owners.
